Image Tiler enables rapid and stable rendering of high volumes imagery to X. The Image Tiler also gives users the ability to perform web-exploitation of imagery in Discover and Progress. Imagery is pulled from the SCi-Toolset's product store and tiled to enable efficient screening and exploitation.
Image Fix-Up assists the analyst by enhancing the quality of the imagery. This is performed by removing systemic artefacts, optimised for Collins Aerospace's DB-110 sensor mission data. Airborne sensor windows often accumulate dirt or deposits that reduce the image quality captured. Imagery can also suffer from near-to-far brightness gradients when long distance scans are performed. Imagery processed through the Image Fix-Up enables these undesirable consequences to be removed, creating a high quality end-product with minimal effort and impact on scene content.
Panorama gives analysists the ability to display an imagery scene as one single panorma image in X. It is specifically designed for modern airborne systems that are capable of capturing coverage of large geographic areas in a single imaging pass. Panorama generation can be achieved from a small numbers of frames or from many hundreds of frames. The panorama capabilty can process very long imaging runs in a very short amount of time. The imagery is pulled from the SCi-Toolset's product store, stitched and corrected, and the exposure and contrast levels are balanced across the entire image scene. The fidelity of the original input imagery is protected.
